A VERY SPECIAL CHARITY CONCERT

All proceeds to the Queensland Premier’s Disaster Relief Fund

Billy Connolly arrived in Australia this month to find Queensland suffering it’s worst natural disaster in recent history. His first reaction was “What can I do to help?”

The decision was made to perform an additional concert.

With three Brisbane concerts already sold out — this very special, extra performance will be held at the Brisbane Convention Centre on Sunday 13 February. All proceeds will go to the Premier’s Disaster Relief Fund.

Billy said today “I like Australia, it’s been very kind to me over the years. It’s like a big friend of mine. It’s a funny thing Australia, when you get into trouble, it’s always huge trouble. Biblical proportions. So, I am just going to do what I normally do with the extra show, and the money instead of going to me will go to the fund.”

Billy sincerely thanks our corporate partners – Suncorp Insurance and Link Marketing Services and our media partners, The Courier Mail, Radio Triple M along with the Brisbane Convention Centre, Southbank Corporation, AEG Ogden and Ticketek.

The concert will be produced and organised by Billy’s Australian promoter Harley Medcalf of Duet Entertainment.
